Getting Divorced? Welcome to the Majority
When you are going through a divorce, it feels like you are the only one in the world this is happening to.
Now comes news through a New York Times analysis of census data, that since 2005, women living without husbands are 51% of the total number of women over 15 in the United States.
Andrea Roan asked me about this trend recently on WUSA TV. I told her the reasons are that women are waiting longer to get married, more couples are choosing to cohabit rather than marry, and many divorced women are deciding not to remarry.
