Working Successfully With Your Divorce Attorney

On Tuesday, March 20, 2007, 7:00PM – 8:45PM, I’ll be presenting a workshop at the Montgomery County Commission for Women, 401 North Washington Street, Rockville, Maryland. (Telephone: 240-777-8300).

The topic is WORKING SUCCESSFULLY WITH YOUR DIVORCE ATTORNEY. I will be talking about the best ways to select an attorney, keep costs down, work with an attorney, retainers, billing, and how to reach a successful outcome in your divorce.

For example, one of the first things I will be discussing is objectives. Do you want to divide assets, establish a parenting plan, and set support? Or do you want revenge or for the judge to decide who was the better spouse? Setting objectives early is critical.

I will also provide handouts and explain my famous settlement/trial notebook. At $16 for almost two hours of my time, it’s a bargain.
